Because much of the construction activity will affect 10th Avenue, the UBC SkyTrain group believes that there should be upgrades to the Midtown Bikeway Corridor. During the construction, bike traffic would be detoured on 11th Avenue and would be advised to travel on alternate routes, shown in the below map. For safety reasons, bikers would not be allowed to use 10th Avenue from Kingsway westwards.
